As part of our Maths and Computing status at Greenshaw, the ICT department has invited children from each of our four partner schools to participate in a summer school.

We will be learning how to build, program, run and problem solve the NXT Mindstorm Robots.

As part of this, we will also be keeping an account of the work we do, by keeping a journal of our work and writing a blog on this very site.

Prior to the Summer School adventure, we took our Mindstorm Robots down to Camden Junior School for their Design & Technology day. We spent time learning how to program the robots and then how to transfer the programs over to the robots 'Intelligent Brick' and then make them carry out the commands.
